Do you still live in your hometown?

I've lived in the same vicinity since I was born. In 21 years, the furthest away from my hometown I have lived was 32 miles. Do you still live in your hometown and if you don't, how far away from it do you live?

I moved out of my home town a couple of years ago. I lived there for over 30 years and despite missing my family it is lovely to be out and realise that I can make it on my own somewhere else. I live abotu 65 miles away which takes just over an hour to drive which is a comfortable journey for me.

I moved out 5years ago when I was 20 years old, just after finishing my college life. It took me 10 hours to be home. so, you see, you are more lucky than me.^_^

The last I lived with my hometown, was seven years ago. But, from time to time I visit my hometown two or three times a year, for reasons that I have to visit my parents, including my brothers, sister, and relatives. I do miss my hometown, but life is fast changing as it should, and we need to find new niche for a better and improved life. Currently, I'm in Cagayan de Oro City, a city many miles away from my hometown of Valladolid Negros Occidental Philippines.

I lived in a very remote village surrounded by mountains, but I now live in a small county without mountains which is about 1000miles away from my hometown. I often dreamed of my teenage life in my hometown. I missed her.

I have always lived within a small area of Michigan. There are a group of several small towns in the county where I live, and I have moved between these towns, but I have never moved outside of the county. I was born and raised here. I expect that I will remain here until the day I die. I was surprised to see this discussion this morning because my friend just told me she was moving away to another state and asked that I move with her. I told her that I would never leave my hometown.

I guess you could say that I have a few hometowns because I moved around when I was younger. I am still living in one of them. I like to visit other places and sometimes I dream about moving to another city, but in reality I am not sure how that would work out.
