What I want to be when I grow up?

What did you guys always wanted to be when you grew up as kids? As a kid I never wanted to be a scientist. Heck, I actually wanted to be a Private Investigator! Not too far apart now that I think about it ... LOL! While growing up everyone around was telling that I'm going to be a doctor, which actually influenced my choices as well. I tried to study medicine for about 2 years, but realise that I love working with ppl, but not inside of them! And I can stomach blood and needles (didn't faint like the modern man at the birth of my daughter :)). Anyway, what did you wanted to be as a kid, and what did you end up becoming? Do you still want to become what you wanted as a child? Did you actually live up to your childhood expectations? I know some kids want to be pirates when they grow up, but does it really pay well enough in the modern era to not have to take a second job as a DJ? Hahahaha

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a lawyer or a teacher... We would play school in the neighborhood and I always play the role of a teacher... ^_^

I wanted to be a child psycologist or a lawyer. I decided not to go with child psycologist because I would want to hurt people daily, and you can't do that. lawyer, well you have to be a defense lawyer to make any money, and I refuse to defend someone that I know is guilty. I am now a 911 dispatcher, which is good for me, because I like to help people but cannot stomach the blood/guts. I speak spanish & english so i translate a lot as well. It all worked out in the end for me.
