I need help in networking!!

where abouts are you planning to set this up?

well this is not as hard as it looks. Depending the amount of people who will be connecting to this network at the same time is where you willlguide your self. If there are going to be a few people connecting to this network just get a good provider who will provide you high speed internet and get your self a router, the router you have to keep it unsecure so everyone can connect to it. In the other hand if there are going to be more than a few, contact your provider and they will give you all the thing need it for this to work. You will need high speed and other divices that will provide the service. I will recommend that if you know that there will be great amount of people using it at the same time, not to set your self because this installation is different from the one we get at our house. They will give you internet capacity for all of them which is alot greater that the one we use at our house. I hope this help and just let me know if u need me to explain this a litlle more.

Need to Consider In Having Internet Cafe 1.Place 2.Purpose-gaming station,surfing 3.Speed of connection-2mbps is good for internet cafes to avoid logging in online games 3.Use your Drive C:/ as windows only and other drive of other applications * this will prevent slowdown of your system 4.Use type C connection for LAN.the Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 5.Use flat UTP cat5 cable for faster Speed 6.Use only one anti virus

u will have to use lan u can go for a switch if u pocket allows and if not then a active hub would do the work for cable u should go for stp cat5 which would give u speed of around 100Mbps
