Ideal Summer Getaway!

Its summer once again! Where do you like to spend your summer vacation? My family and I are planning to go to Bohol (Philippine). Beaches, mountains, cute animals (tarsier), springs etc., Bohol has it all. For me its a perfect place for us to enjoy and be together this summer.

I have been to Bohol with some officemates in 2002 when we attended a symposium in Cebu.
The chocolate hills is a fascinating site, I wonder how those hills came to be formed! I did see the tarsier, the smallest monkey. We went to old churches there. We went to see the beautiful beaches. We also had our lunch on the floating resto, made of local bamboo on top of 2 banca attached to each other. It really was a very nice and momentous experience for me.
This April, I am scheduled to go to Canada to accompany my old dad and visit my sis and brother there and same time to experience a different environment and atmosphere! I am excited but sad to leave my 2 sons here.

Thnaks for best response. I was not on myLot for couple of days. I'm here in Canada right now, been here since April 6, and will stay for 2 weeks more. Just been to Montreal, Toronto and Niagara Falls, Ottawa, and now here in Vancouver, British Columbia.
You can come here too in Canada, just think positive, who knows...

i love travelling round the Greek islands during summer. We tend to hire a boat on Crete and just travel round anywhere we fancy. We are making a point of going to Ithaca this time

It is common knowledge that Greece has very beautiful views by the beach. This reminds me of the Onassis, the Greek tycoon. All those yachts and big, big boats of the Onassis roaming the Greek seas. I can still remember those days when they used to fill the news and they were usually featured on tv.

Bohol has really become a main tourist destination in the Philippines. What with its beautiful scenery, beaches and warmhearted people. The food there is excellent, too, yet they come cheap. Enjoy your days there and have a happy vacation.

I think anywhere would be great, as long as I'm with my family especially and friends. But I like to go back to Tahiti. It's great there and I miss it so much. Lots of beaches, good food, and great Tahitian dance!! Happy Vacation! Happy Summer!
