It's far far away from an excellent movie. The entires battle scenes are made on computer. Nothing seems real. I feel like i'm watching GTA San Andreas or some. The blood is too fake....comparing to Mel Gibson's Apocalipto. That is a real "bloody" movie. 300 is a nice combat simulation movie.

too much computer graphics. the scenes are not so realistic, but still a great movie though, with very shallow storyline. it seems they didnt even get the facts straight. and i counted the spartans, there are only 127, not 300

Is that the same as "300" or another retelling? If it's "300", I enjoyed it. It's pretty shallow in many ways - no real concern for history, no real concern for realism or anything - but it's a fun action movie. Nothing more, nothing less. It's made to appeal to adolescent males, to put it simply, and it does its job very well. My suggestion? Watch it, but don't buy it. Rent it instead.
