i remember back in high school,, i have a big crush on this guy older than me.. (i was 14 and he was 16) he is popular in school,, everyone knows him.. he is really well connected to many outsiders (students from other schools) but one day, the feeling i had for him changed.. he asked me out on a date.. he spoke to me face to face,, and i felt like i was facing a toilet bowl full of human sh*t.. it was really terrible.. i almost threw my stomach out.. of course he noticed me feeling uneasy.. i had to say no to the guy..

Yep, it certainly pays to take good care of yourself. One thing I dislike is kissing a lady who smokes. It is a definite turn off.

Well I do not blame you for saying no to this guy it is dreadful when people do not worry about the smell of their breath, I don't know what is wrong with some people as it can be a real turn off.

True it's really a turn-off. Most people don't realize they have this so better if someone tries to inform them.

Bad breath! - Should I tell this person he has bad breath.
Well this is a real turn off but we have all had bad breath in our life unless this was something that was an every day thing may be you should have given him a second chance. But now come to think of it I went out with this guy that use to take a lot of vitamins and I remember that he really stunk it even came out of his pores so I broke up with him, so I guess who am I to talk. This was a real turn off for me also.

no matter how handsome the guy is if he has bad breath I won't ever give him a chance. I have this friend too he was one of my barkada he was nice though he had bad breath. He once courted me and I directly showed signs that I just want him as a friend.

yea many hate such persons.... After all cleanliness is the first thing when you come in to the public.. Even one of my friends had the same problem..he went to a Dr and some sort of ..but now he is ok... main cause for such problems is the dirt in the tongue and in between the teeth...This is all can be cured... To the most comedy part of it the person will not know that he is smelling bad for the light smells.. So we have to place our hand in-front of our mouth and blow out to test "are we smelling bad"...

Haha! That's really funny! But i agree. Bad Breatd is a major turn-off. I also don't like guys that smell bad. Those that doesn't take a bath everyday and use one set of clothes everyday. =)

Hello dear, well at times we do face such situations and need to come out of that as well. At times we can't even express our feelings that easily. Along with that I've even faced situations where people stink a lot either under-arms or legs and that relly brings a terrible head-ache and the most helpless condition is when anyone just releases the unwanted gases from his body, that's the worst ,but can't help thatexcept for being away from them or making them realize their mistake and telling them to maintain themselves.

A bad breath will be a really great turn-off. You can plainly see that someone who has this does not take care of his hygiene properly. I don't like a person who is unclean and untidy!

Actually I wouldn't have said no, I would have said yes bu took alot of breath freshening gum with me. I would have also told him I have a phobia about kissing people cause of germs unless they have just bruhed their teeth that way he may have started brushing alot more often and maybe using breath freshener like listerine or scope and maybe you wouldn't have missed out on a great man(boy). I know about bad breath because I suffer from it alot and my husband says it can knock a elephant down at ten paces in the morning..lol I have to brush repeatedly and use bresh freshener all day always have a travel size bottle of scope on hand and a whole bunch of eclipse breath freshening gum.Well I hope next time you encounter a person with bad breath I hope you give them another chance cause sometimes it is uncontrollable.

I certainly agree with you that Bad Breath really turns off. I have always made sure that I carry a pack of mint with me which comes really handy.

yeah bad breath's really a turn-off at any stage, anywhere in life. The problem is ,I can't decide whether to complain about it or not, because complaining's the only way of letting him/her learn to prevent bad breaths in the future, but complaining might break his heart too. In the end, I mostly decide to tolerate but sometimes it's too much and I can't help screwing up my face in disgust. The danger is, it might happen at very important moments, like you're talking to somebody really important and suddenly, you get an air of his bad breath and cringe. If he guesses the reason for your cringing, he'll get embarassed and go away, and so would any opportunity for you that he brought with him, even though it's never your fault.

Yeah, i think the same. Not just bad breadth, but bad odour is also a turn off. I stay away frm those who have these traits. I just can't stand bad odour. I make sure that whnever i go out, i dn't give anyone the chance to complain.
