How to make my 2yr old son to sleep in the afternoons ?

My son always plays a lot and he is mischieve all the time this makes us feel vexed sometimes and whenever we try to make him sleep in afternoons he doesnot cooperate and he even doesnot sleep early in the nights also. When he was below 1yr he use to sleep by time to time ane he used tobe very calm. Please help.

dont worry this is not only your story it is also mine as my baby is just 9 months old his sleep goes in air when he just listen to any a little voice or noise and about night sleeps he always start searching me after 45 to 60 minutes now you can get where is sleep of my son gone
dont worry take care of him and give him small nappy sleeps in your arms after hours or 1 & half hours that will cover the whole sleep
and less sleep is a notice of much activities i have just got checked my son two days ago for the same reason and doctor told me dont worry this is good sight

you are correct that this is the same case with all the kids. But i got a good point from you answer that kids with less sleep are more active, may be this is one good reason why kids will sleep less. Thank you. Take care.
