How Guilty Should I Feel For My Baby's Stitches?

My baby has four stitches in her finger. :( I was in the van with her, we were warming up and waiting for the other kids to finish sledding. I forgot the recyclables were in the back and she was looking out the window. Next thing I knew she was crying and blood was everywhere! I feel so bad. She cut her finger on a can good lid. I should have remembered those were there and I should have been back there with her not warming my legs up front. I feel guilty and wish i could get over it. Any suggestions?
