What do you do with an irritating person?

Have you ever met someone who irritates you so much? You see, I know somene who is just so moody, self-righteous and annoyingly loud that I have being with her. I don't have a choice but to deal with her every single day. Just recently she was in one of those moods again so I decided to just ignore her and act as if she doesn't exist. It somehow works but at the end of the day I know that she still there and that I still have to deal with her in the future. Can you tell me what to do with her?
