I think that is the stupidest idea ever. What happen to real love. Would you have any respect for her? Wouldnt you feel like a rapist because you know she doesnt want to be there. I think who ever though of that couldnt find a girl . Maybe this person was ugly or something. So with that its stupid, stupid, stupid.

I think the grooms and brides who choose this type of marriage are in a desperate situations. Obviously there are no love; passion; affection and friendship etc. in between of them before they married and lived together. All they have are hopes; dreams and risks.

I don't know if I can answer that question having my education and living in a somewhat privilaged situation where "poverty" means I can only afford a small cafe latte instead of ordering the large one. I don't agree with it, but I do not want to judge either. I know of men who have used those websites because they were genuinely interested in meeting a unique woman from a different culture, a woman whom they were willing to learn from and respect. It worked out fine for them, but as you said, it doesn't work for everyone, and dangerious situations arise. It is really hard to say unless you have walked a few miles in their shoes.

I think it's concept is stupid.. I don't even wanna know who started it because from my point of view, they are already selling girls with souls to other people to get married. They're trapping the girls and deprived them of their freedom to love and choose who they'll be marrying.. I don't know about what other think of it, but I don't really like it some women are sent there just to be ordered and battered around by the man or might as well call their slaves.. But there's different kinds of people around, maybe a few percent of those would actually love their mail order brides.. I do hope so..
