I'm bored with people on here trying to sell me something!!

Almost every other thread I've looked at in the last week or so has had some referral link in it to the latest, greatest way to make money online. The ones that irritate me the most are the ones that try to pretend they're not doing it and usually go something like "does anyone know any other sites that pay?" and then surprise, surprise "I make money at www.wastelotsoftimeforverylittlemoney.com" Most of the stuff they're promoting is just the same tired old rubbish and it's getting really boring. I've nothing against people putting that stuff on their profile or offering more info via PM but it's irritating when I'm constantly coming across "discussions" which are really no more than just adverts for referral programs. I try to ignore these threads as much as possible but I'm in the mood for a moan today so just humour me or, even better, agree with me and tell me it gets on your nerves too! Oh and by the way - I make my living from IM so I'm the first to admit that there are things around that do work but there's a time and a place (and a professional way) to recruit people.

myLot has eighty over thousands members, and most members are here for some money making opportunities. Hence, naturally, one can expect some selling here. I guess it is the same in most sites and emails nowadays. As long as one is in a public forum, and there is money to make from referrals, it is inevitable everybody will try their luck at recruiting. The easiest and cleanest way it to ignore such discussions or emails received if not interested.

I usually do ignore them - I very rarely respond to any of them. I suppose it is only natural that people will do it but I wish they would try doing it with a little more imagination instead of being so dull and predictable about it all ;) Thanks for your response. A + for you.

I totally agree with you, and you better that anyone knows the good and bad schemes that everybody spreads around, sometimes we read a lot of crap discussions that we fall in the virus and let´s do the same, that´s why I´m falling in a inactive mood here in mylot, I don´t have the patience to search and search for good discussions.

I know - I'm finding it difficult to maintain my enthusiasm for myLot at the moment. I understand people want to make money and they want to get their referral links in front of as many people as possible but they could at least try to contribute something interesting to the site at the same time. A + for you too.
