Special time with your children

Do you have that special thing that you do with your child? My husband and son go most Saturday mornings to the pet store and pretty much just play. It is such a beautiful thing.... very meaningful to them both.
I am a SAHM and feel like it is hard to have those little special things because we do everything together. I know that every moment I have with him is special, don't get me wrong.

My husband and I save some time on Sunday's after church to do something that our boys enjoy. Many times we travel to one of the State Parks that are near us. This allows the boys to play on different play equipment than they do the rest of the week. The boys love to have mom and dad both on the equipment with them and Sundays is the only day we can all go together on a consistant basis!

That's awesome. What great memories you are building for your boys. We have a few consistant family things we enjoy together. What I worry about is if I should be making more effort to have that some little something that is just "mommy-son" time. ALL of our time together is just that because I am blessed to be a stay at home mom. Is he going to look back and remember those Saturday morning trips to the pet store with day with fondness, and.... well mom, she was just always there.
I'd love to know other mommies thoughts on this.
