Anyone out there who loves Fox's Glacier mints will be interested to know that there is now a Fox's Glacier dark! It tastes a bit like cough candy with a kick, and they term these "licorice and aniseed flavour sweets". Well, they are certainly more-ish! And before my friends point out that I am not supposed to eat sweets, I AM allowed one or two, so there!

There is an old English custom that if you are a guest in someone's house you don't criticise their cooking. Or the ingredients of their cooking. Or the fact that they are eating cake. So there! Now, back to topic, the new mints are not mints, they are sort of licoricey aniseedy and youmight like them as they are not pepperminty, honest!

Well, I have never heard of these so I shall have to check them out but I do like the taste of licorice and aniseed but I would only eat one or two myself so that it would not affect my sugar diabeties level, but thanks very much for your information.

If you have Fox's in your country, you should be getting them in store soon. www.foxs.co.uk The pack says they are suitable for vegetarians. It does not give the sugar ratio, but as it is no2 in the ingredients list I should think there is a lot in there. Possibly something to keep in your pocket in case of hypo?

There is the licorice taste there, but it is more like what we used to call Paragolic, whatever that was lol. I was only about 3 and my Nan used to have those.
