Best Beef Taco Salad

Well that is my opinion and the opinion of every family member ever to taste it. I have to give proper credit for this one to my stepmom. She may not be able to cook much without burning it, but dang if this didn't turn out awesome every time!
1 lb taco flavored beef
lettuce, tomates, onions (opt)
shredded cheddar (although I like taco cheese in this too)
taco chips (regular or nacho, they are both great!)
med size bottle Western Dressing
Toss everything in a VERY large bowl (you want LOTS of this!) and mix well with dressing, chill for at least 2 hours.
This is SO good for days after, the dressing keeps soaking into everything. YUM-O!

We all have this different taste of food but i think you are right, you can take a cridet to the first tasted it and it is you family..its nice of you to have a courage to share this,, i gonna try this..taco is real good food especially when its freshly made.

Thank you. I know that many have different tastes, but as I said, this is quite a requested dish in my family and its pretty good. Fresh or days after its still good.

I am not sure what Western Dressing is, but the salad sounds great ! We eat a lot of Taco salad type dishes and are always looking for new ideas. Can you let me know about the Western dressing thing because I am not sure where to get it. Thanks for the recipe !!

You can get Western dressing just about any store you can think of. In the US anyways, not sure where it would be elsewhere.
I commonly get mine at Walmart though, because it is so expensive... about $3-4 a bottle!
