I'm 34 so it's certainly not 30-- I think the older we get- the older we think old is- I think old right nw to me is 80.. My daughter thinks I'm old- I'll be 35 in November- Oh my god mom that is so old! : (.. She is 10. I say every day we get older and that just means older is old- My friend who just turned 50-- says that 50 is the new 40-- Meaning that people don't think about it til they are 50. I must admit though when I have a hard day at work or a hard workout- I feel OLD!

yes there are signs that my body is telling me that its getting old. like working out, or staying up late, and the ability to get alot done, seems to be part of growing old. in my head i feel like time stopped for me when i was first married, and when i look in the mirror, its a rude awakening. its amazing to me how much memory our brain holds,-no wonder people get dimensia, or alzheimers-there is too much stuff in our heads!

I really think "age" is in your mind. I do remember when years ago, I was in my 20's thinking 50 sounds so old ( and far away). Now that I am 50 I don't think I am old. I still have a lot of energy, though sometimes a short nap in the afternoon feels so good!!! My psych. dr. believes short naps are very healthy!!! One difference is that I feel more aches... probably a bit of arthritis...lol

Well, I take my age and add 25 years and declare that OLD. The next year I do the same thing, lol. That way I am never the old one!

I know what you mean. Now I'm even thinking that maybe 80 isn't really all that old, but 90 is. Do you think this little game we play ever ends?

Today no one knows our specific age, b'cause I've seen grandma age 65 look alike 30's...I've asked her and I got the answer...easy to look young instead of old age

thats true, people in their 40's now, look sometimes like 30's.. technology and better knowledge of health and skin care has helped alot.

Hmmm. well i definitely don't think 30 is old. and I don't think 40 is old either, because I think my mom is still very young. even my grandma who is in her 60's still acts young, and looks it. My grandpa on the other hand is in his 70's and he looks, talks, and acts very old! so going from the people around me i think mid 70's is when you start to get old. Although i have seen some very young 80 year olds. It just depends on how old you feel.

I think 50 years is old age to change your clothing style and feeding style but real old age starts from 60.

I remember when I was 16 and my father passed away he was 42 and someone said Lord we was so young I was thinking Oh my he was over the heal. 20 years later my Mother passed away at 62 and i cried because she was to young to go. I am not trying to be sad but when you mentioned age thats what I thought of. And the older I get the older I get I am now 43 and I think old is somewhere in the 80's
