There are some that offer great views on historical events. I just watched 'Good Night and Good Luck' so I could write a paper on it for an Ethics class and found it really enjoyable. It focuses on the battle between Edward R. Murrow and Senator Joseph McCarthy. That era, the McCarthy Era, was a shameful part of American history that is so similar to today, it's scary. If you haven't seen it, check it out. It's great for Americans to know and for people from other countries to realize an important piece of American history.
