Why do people think it's gross to see gay people showing affection in public? Why is it okay for straight people to show affection and no one thinks anything of it? why is it easier to accept two women together than two men? Do you think in time this will change and people will not even think twice about two men or two women kissing or holding hands in public?

When I see two men or two women expressing physical affection, it really bothers me because I know what the Bible says will happen to them. I'm afraid nothing good lies ahead for them.

God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve! I feel homosexuality on any level is a disgrace. Bible aside, why are there men and women? Not so they can hitch up with with there same sexes. I dont believe for a second that homosexual behaviour is hereditary or in your gene codes. Not for a second, people may try to make themselves believe such crap but its just not and never will be the case.
What would happen if everyone went homosexual? What would become of mankind then? Its wrong on every and any level and should not be tolerated.

I think it is something that people do not understand. Instead of trying to understand it they would rather classify it as gross. Myself any show of affection between two people who love each other is fine. It is a attraction and they are born with it. Leave people alone. I do agree that someday this will be acceptable. It can not be to soon for me. Live and let live is what I say.

I get grossed out when I see straight couples making out in public. I don't know what it is, but guys and girls together just don't seem to make out gracefully. It's more disgusting. Two guys making out doesn't bother me, but two girls is better. :) I'd accept any couple that wants to be together though as long as both partners are consenting adults. It's not like they're asking me to join in. So straight people can do what they want in public (although, I'd kind of prefer that it was somewhat less public).
If people want to say that gays shouldn't show affection in public, straight couples should also be prohibited from showing affection.
I think eventually this will all change though. You walk around communities with a large gay population, and people don't really think twice about it. I mean, if they were going to be bothered by it, they wouldn't move to West Hollywood.

Come on. Who wants to see a couple of guys kissing? Seriously. You are asking why? Because it is not an accepted form of behavior.
Why would someone be grossed out by someone eating bugs? I bet if you were lost and had no food a grasshopper roasted on a stick would look like a great meal. But it still grosses us out. That is the best way I can explain it.

I don't care, two guys, two girls, straight people or whole bunch of people, as long as they are not too wild about it;) I think that it's not accepted, because world is full of hypocritical people. Come on, I know, that all you people have some dirty secrets. Why people are overall so prejudiced? Is it lack of education or what? I don't know.

I think people get grossed out because they arnt use to seeing it. Because its something that has been such a private thing for so long. I dont think its okay, for straight people to be able to show affection to their partners but gay people are not allowed. I think 2 woman is more acceptable, because men enjoy that. Men love seeing 2 woman together, kissing, and being intimate. I think over time, this will become more acceptable...in time we shall see. Good post!
