How do you get your discussion to get a lot of responses?

it helps to have friends on mylot that will respond to your discussions.. also if you post about somthing not many people can relate to or answer even chances are u wont get many responses so keep that in mind as well.. about a month ago i saw a great post on here that gave pointers on getting more comments for your discussions.. one of the things they mentioned was posting it at times and into a category in which currently alot of people were online and posting in.. that way there are more chances of it being seen and then of course responded to.

I had this same problem when I first came here. I too asked the same question and got very few responses to that one too. So I started going to the members with the highest number of post and supporting their discussions. I added a few more friends and then more friends started adding me. Before lone I had a discussion about chips that raked in over 100 responses. I was so delighted! I knew then it is all about supporting others and building my friend base. I have a goal set to reach 1000 friends by the end of the year. If I have that many then I am sure I can find something interesting to post to and they in turn will support my discussions. So far I have over 500 and it seem sto work real good for me. So, build up your friend base and support them.
