Russian Blue - They have minimal hair loss, They are affectionate, beautiful, smart and they put up with crap that the kids give them. I have owned them for many years with children. You know how kids pick them up etc....The worst my cats ever did was let out a tiny little meow to say that they have had enough.

scottish fold - I so want this cat
I have always been a fan of the "Scottish Fold". I absolutly love their ears. I have never had one but I don't see why they would be any different than any other cat. the independence of the feline species in general makes it where any cat can be a good and a bad pet. When my son was still an infant we had two cats, Mystique, who could't stand my son and Pele, who adored my son(they were brother and sister). It all depends on that particular cat's personality. the picture is a Scottish fold, I think they look awesome

Wow, that's a tough question for me. I'm not sure that breed reflects personality. With that said, however, I can tell you that the first time I say a Scottish Fold cat, I fell in love. They have such cute, big eyes and their ears fold slightly forward....HOLY are they ever cute!! :)

I really dont know which kind of cat is best, but I know that calicos ushally seem to be a bit more fiesty. Mine loves to fight with me, and she seems like she would love to hunt. Shes crazy sometimes! LOL!
