Despite all the technological advances and new gadgets I still listen to the radio. I have a quite simple radio that I listen to every day. There are some music programmes that I listen to. There are also my favourite talk shows. The radio for me is essential for listening to the news. Finally, without a radio I would not be able to listen to my favourite football team. I intend to buy a new radio soon that will be solar powered.

I am listening to my radio right now, The University station in Guelph runs the BBC World Service at night, between 2 and 7 AM. I usually listen to the news on there before going to sleep at night. The rest of the time, if I want to listen to the radio I listen to http://www.am740.ca I'm local, so I can listen to them on my radio. Oh yeah, on Sunday afternoons there is a Turkish program I like on the same station where I'm hearing the BBC right now.

i do sometimes use radio even now.Today, radio takes many forms, including wireless networks, mobile communications of all types, as well as radio broadcasting. Read more about radio's history. Before the advent of television, commercial radio broadcasts included not only news and music, but dramas, comedies, variety shows, and many other forms of entertainment. Radio was unique among dramatic presentation that it used only sound. For more, see radio programming.

We still use the radio in my country for lot of reasons I prefer the radio during the day to get my local and national news. I also like to listen to talk radio. I prefer the radio to television breacuse I can listen and still get things done. If the tv is on then One has to stop and look at it to know whhat is going on I can learn if there is a traffic accident on the road I need to travel. I can keep track of the weather and be prepared for what ever it is going to be. I couldn't get by with out my radio.

Yes i still use radio but not as much as I did as a teenager, i can even listen to online radio sometimes but that is not the same thing.. for traditional radio I listen to it when i wake up and sometimes before i go to sleep or leave it on all night as it helps me get to sleep when I'm having trouble with that. TV and the internet didn't leave me much time for radio listening but it's still useful for me :)

I listen radio every now and then. It's nice to hear some new music sometimes, and not only the ones which I have ion cd. So, if I listen it once or twice in a month, I'll hear all the new tunes and it's enough for me.
