There is this bug/virus [however it is called...] that's been in our PC since last month. It's tagged as Brontok and I think it's a virus with a Malayo-Polynesian origin.
It's been bothering me because I think it's the reason why our PC is not working that properly these days.
Our antivirus program wasnt able to remove it and boy... That's frightening...
I've also heard that this bug allegedly ruined an entire office building's computer network..
What should I do?

I think you should see someone with the same experience. I have that kind of virus too but i reformatted our PC and POOF! its all gone, that virus is in the web and i think thats where you got it. If you have a Flash drive and you used it outside to connect in the web i will advice you that you should scan (virus scan) your USB flash drive before opening it.

Never heard of that before but now I heard it so thanks for the info. May I know what's your antivirus program? Maybe you should try AVG or ZoneAlarm Antivirus. They're pretty good softwares when it comes to detecting and eliminating viruses. If the scanning doesn't work, then maybe you have to reformat your PC because some virus have the capability of disabling the power of an antivirus program. I experienced that before. In my case, there was a Trojan that entered into my computer and it disables all the features of my antivirus program thus, making my PC vulnerable to more virus/spyware attacks. So yeah! I think the best choice is to reformat your PC.
Hope that helps.
God Bless.

Well, my Brontok problem had already been solved. When i posted this discussion, our Antivirus program is a trend Micro. I think it failed so awfully so we shifted to Norton and I think the problem had already been solved. Only, there's another virus that's bugging us but not as bothering as the Brontok. I think this new virus comes frm the same Indonesian source. I still have the Taga Lipa Are but I no longer mind it much...
Thanks for the concern anyway...
