I know this might sound crazy, but I think im acutally addicted to mountian dew. I can drink a whole 2 liter a day, and if I dont drink any all day, I get a headache and I feel sick. Is this rediculas or what? Anyone else have similar problems?

It's not ridiculous at all. It's the caffiene that you are addicted to and going without it can lead to some side effects. I'm the same way but with Coke rather than mountain dew. If I don't have some it leads to the worst headaches and I get a tad grumpy with people around me.

Isn't Mountain Dew just water, or is it different, i am not sure if that is addiction, interesting, I could think of worse things to be addicted to....

Nope its soda, with the most caffine levels out of all the sodas.

It's got alot of caffeine in it. That's probably what you're addicted to? I'm sure it's got alot of sugar in it too. That's addictive also. If you feel it's causing a problem, slowly start cutting down on the amount you drink everyday. Another idea is to just quit drinking it cold turkey. You'll probably feel bad for 2 or 3 days, but in the long run you'll feel alot better not loading your system up on caffeine and sugar.

I think you're doing more harm than good to yourself with the high sugar intake. Why not change your tase from refined drinks to fruit juice. This is far better. Think about it.

I think you should learn to slow down in drinking mountain dew because of some health hazards. It has 55.0 caffeine per 12 oz serving, no wonder you're addicted to it. Bone deterioration or loss of calcium were caffeine related. Too much caffeine can be lethal, so watch out.
