Is being cool a big deal?

I know some people who are cool from the very beginning. They jam fine and they are true to themselves. And that's really nice. But sometimes, I encounter people who are trying hard to be cool even if it does'nt suit them. I thought: 'Why don't they try to be real than be fake?' In that case, they might be known cool in their own mere way of being themselves..

Oh, you can really tell the difference, can't you? I find it very sad and irritating when people behave that way. Some of the coolest people I know appear to be totally uncool. But they are, and it is just because they are themselves.

That's the thing! People are cool by being the way they are. That's the greatest deal...

There is nothing wrong in being trying to be cool but when one attempts such things he or she must not overpower their own identity or the image(personality). After all being cool can't be the birth right, if you can achieve it then it's cool.

People like that only tend to know what society's taught them. They've learned that 'cool' equals praise..but it's shallow. When people are bein' real they can be far cooler than when they're just pretending. 'Mysterious' can be gained by simply not explaining everything about yourself. By not always mentioning your past. The pretenders though, they can't get past the look or how they act..so they miss the real point to things. In any case, no, I don't believe 'cool' is a big deal.

I don't think being cool is such a big deal.Faking to be someone you are not is uncool and people are put off by that. The best way to be cool is being yourself.Everyone has an opinion and a way of looking at things which is unique to them.I find uniqueness cool because they stand up for what they believe in and don't change themselves depending on what is the popular opinion. It needs courage to be your true self and that,to me, is the definition of being cool.
