When I hit an impasse, I always went and tried something new. A new place to eat, a new activity, or just talking to a new person you see in the neighborhood. Often that gets my creative mind flowing again and I can better write my thoughts on paper.

One time, a line kept going through my head "My lips speak of words your heart can't hear..". For some reason, I wasn't able to finish the poem. Up until now. I'm not sure if it's for lack of inspiration or something else. But I've always thought it's a good line. I didn't sit through it though. I just simply let it be. Afterall, the line says it all. Maybe in time, I'll be able to finish it. But for now, I'm not rushing things. So what if it's a one-liner poem? It's beautiful anyway.
