Well, if there any good career advice in the world that anyone can give you, it's as much as possible try to find something whereby you're your own boss and chart course of your career destiny. Otherwise, you'll wake up one day at 60 ans realise all you've was to be a slave to the trade... Work for yourself...find avenues and opportunities whereby you can set-up your own business or self-employed service provision.

you are right jaya. but for centuries this one mantra 'safe job is better' has been hammered into the psyche of millions and they remain tied to that for the rest of their life. when i was out of the job last year, i had no idea what to do. all i had is that i was from a profession where i can say '*uck off' any clients and my dependence on them. here i take risk, i gain or sometime lose my money. i am fully responsible and accountable for all my actions. self employment actually ignites that sleeping spirit in you and motivates and energizes it. if you dont earn, then one knows what will follow. so it is an ideal platform to which all youngsters should turn to. "Who Dares Wins". who ever said it said it rightly.

take time to decide what you love to do and will continue to enjoy doing. Stay back in your present job till you make a good base and when you have some continuous stream of money or sufficient savings in hand, then you can take a plunge. from now till you move out, develop good reliable network of people, if it requires that or deevlop your own clientele. if you sit back and think you will definitely find a way out. if you still need help you can PM me. Happy mylotting.

I think working for yourself is very correct.but it doesn't mean that anyone are the boss.working for yourself maybe is that you should work hardly and love your work as if you were the boss.only this, can you found the good working habit and improve yourself in career life and later grasp the chance reliable to have a suitable position to do what you wanna. and...easilier said than done, i can not control although i have worked above 10 years and i am now is an ordinary employee.

to be self employed is a wonderful feeling. being self employed one takes on the responsibility and accountability for ones actions, mistakes etc and willing to learn and not repeat the same mistakes. there wont be a superior to point out the mistakes and correct them. there are many avenues where one can be self employed and if you sit back and take a hard look at your own current profession, may be there is an opportunity to be self employed and get ahead in life.
