I don't go to a church or temple. Shame on me right? Anyway I don't feel that one has to go somewhere just to be close to God (or whomever they believe in). You can be just as close to him/her at home, work, school, etc, etc. Cause you carry around with you, your deities love. I don't have any particular spot that I pray at. If a prayer is needed I will just stop what I am doing and have a moment of silence, and keeping in mind what needs to be accomplished, or hope that a friend or family member succeed in getting through a particularly hard moment in their lives.

Yes, I have a separate room for praying in which generally my wife sits for hours praying god. I don't visit temples frequently but I speak "Jai shri Ram" some 100 tikmes in a day . I don't speak hello or hi if I meet a person I speak lord rams name only.

To me it is perfectly fine to pray everywhere. I do pray when I want to where ever I may be. I have prayed in my bed, in my livingroom, in my kitchen, in my car, in the shower, in the grocery store, at a ball game. I don't think it matters where you pray. God loves to hear from His people and I don't really think He would care where we are when we are talking to Him. Thanks for the post. God Bless you.
