I am having a difficult time understanding why the liberals are so supportive of the Radical Muslum Cause. A high ranking member of the National Organization of Women, NOW, came out opposed to President Bush and the attack on the Teleban. The Teleban is all for repressing women and even consider them as secondand third class citizens. Some view the wife as the husbands property. Why would a womens group want such a group around. The Hollowood community seems to be pro Arab yet their life style would be the first to go. It is often such groups that are cited by the Radical Muslums as the reason that the US needs to be distroyed. Jane Fonda loves to critize the US and praise the Comminuist states, yet where does she live? In the Repressive US or the Workers paradice?
A German judge reciently quotated a very strict interpertation of the Quaran that said a husband has the right to castigate his wife. The Judge took the interpertation that this included abusing her and denied the womans request for a speedy Divorce. The Abuse that triggered the request was the husband breaking into the wifes apartment and burning her hand.
Is this the type of society that the Liberals are endorcing?
When are these people going to wake up and see what is happening. France a very liberal country has reciently ban Gay Marriage some say out of fear of the reaction of the Muslum population.

No not all liberals. Alot of liberals have common sense, just as conservatives do. But just like conservatives, there are also alot of liberals who don't have common sense, but are just out to score popularity points. It's easy to paint a group of people as beleiving in something when you only bring up certain cases.
For example you mention France as being a liberal, possibly Muslim fearing country. But in France Chirac has banned the wearing of veils and Turbins in schools. The country has experienced alot of race riots in the last few years and an increase in support of right-wing Le Pen who believes that immigrants do not integrate. Apparently the French don't associate the word 'citizen' with non-whites. All this makes me beleive that France isn't that liberal after all and don't have concern for their Muslim population.
Under the new government of Iraq, women have less rights and fewer are in the well paid jobs than there were under Suddam. But that doesn't necessarily mean our governments advocate that, just becasue they support the new government.
