how do paste ads on my blog

i have been encountering problems pasting ads on my blog.it is not that i dont have ads on my blog but they are showing only at the top of the blog it is really making it look scanty,i need to paste ads at the sidebar and other places on my blog.for those that are earning from pay per click sevices,get pais to earn like treasure tropper and the rest of them,how do i paste their code on my blog so that i could advertise their product.for those that are google adsense how do include adsense foe search and referrals cos i am only on adsense for content.thanks
