One of all my all time favorites horror movies is the jhon carpenter remake of The Thing,in this movie the horror and sci fi elemets are masterfully combined, the paranoia and claustrofobic feelings are ever present, the first time i saw this movie i was on the edge of my seat trough out the whole deal, for me, for this is the best movie coming from the Kurt Russel/Jhon Carpinter duo.

I really enjoy watching horror movies but they don't necessarily scare me. I think that one of the most disturbing horror film that I have seen in Saw. To me, the anticipation of the potential pain that could be inflicted by some of the devices in the movie is what maes me flinch and cringe.

Ring is a good choice especially the picturisation of certain scenes was very scary.. phonecall is more like thriller and mistery type film rather than horror.. The grudge will almost be every horror movie lover's choice... great choice cheers buddy

The plot twist in saw 1 one was good. The other movies I could almost predict what was going to happen. Saw movies are not scary, they are rather disturbing. I watched a movie called ghost rig recently. It is not a great movie at all, but it had a very good plot twist. I don't get scared by many horror films. The computer generated monsters are funny than scary. Ring and Grudge were all right movies. House on the haunted hill wasn't that great. I haven't seen a movie that has really scared me yet.

I really like that remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I've also seen Saw I and the first Ring.
