Where did Satan come from? Where did evil originate?

Any idea where Satan came from? Where did evil originate? The Bible is rather vague on the origin of Satan and of evil. it is only tradition that has suggested that he is angel by the name of Lucifer, but the reference in Isaiah and Ezekiel are doom songs pertaining to the kings of Tyre and Babylon.

tnx for the response. i wud agree that there are some vague things in the Bible, but there are also great truths in it, especially ethics and salvation. try reading it... (",) and maybe i can answer some of your questions on the bible.

Hey Quignojan....
My biggest query is some people at the catholic chruch says they have visions...visions of GOD, God can communicate thru them.....They can predict about your fuutre life and people follow them blindly.....
My only question is, is GOD really so easily accessbible in your backyard to help you with your life decisions and future....If Yes, den I myself would promote such priest and I would try to take as many sad souls to them so that they can help them with their life and life them up!!!!

i would agree that some people use God to make money or manipulate other people. but i believe God reveals Himself to those who honestly seek Him. (",)
