what famous quote has stuck in your mind...?

It is written in Phillipians 4;13 "I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength." (I think that is close to direct quote from the Bible.) There is also a quotation in the Bible that goes something like "the effectual prayer of a righteous person avails much." If we are good Christians then we can ask in prayer for help. These are my favorite quotes.

my favorite quote is " What other people think about you, is non of your business!" i don't remember who said it but i know one thing for sure, it is as right as rain. people get so caught up with what other people think they don't think for themselves. me, i sing when i want, dance when i want, and say what i want and it is ok

I have two favorites, actually. I read this one way back in college, "Don't be a lamp in the chamber when you can be a star in the sky" and "If you can think it, you can become it." I go by these two quotes whenever I need motivation to get something done or to do something new and more. Sometimes we need quotes to motivate us. It gives us inspiration and it also drives us to excel and succeed. :)

Mine would be.. "The worst thing about being lied to is that you're not worth the truth." It's true actually, why must a person lie when they tell you they love.. It just goes to show that you're not worth of knowing the truth when they lie, there might be reasons, but have they though that we might understand them more if they just told us the truth? This is quite a mind-boggling thing to me.. hehe This one also "It wouldn't hurt if you don't know" I also agree to this one, but sadly we will find out things..

Mine is a quote from Dalai Lama. "If you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. But you can survive without it if you have love, compassion and tolerance. The clear proof of a person's love of God is if that person genuinely show love to fellow human being."

for me, one of my favorite quotes is "the important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in." from mitch albom's Tuesdays with Morrie. i so love this book and the line really strucked me. it's all about loving and letting someone love you back. i believe that love is a two way thing. it's most rewarding when two people can share love and give love to each other.

It's silly but I love the quote from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels with Vinnie Jones - mmm Vinnie Jones ah em, erm it's one of the last lines in the movie saying 'it's been an experience!' dunno why that stuck in my head lol

My quote that inspires me is "SUCCESS LOVES ME ONLY IF I WORK HARD". You may be wondering if that's a famous quote. Actually it's my own and one day it's gonna be famous. Watch out for that day. See, i am working hard at getting this quote famous as i have published it on net here. :)
