It really takes me a week of suspension from work to understand how to be punctual in your workplace. i realized that it does affect your performance at work and your relationship with your employer. The best thing to determine is your willingness to work hard and your self discipline in your time management. Can you share your ways how to improve punctuality in your work or in your appointments?

One of the technics i employ to keep me coming earlier is having the feeling or sense of urgency. I made it a principle that i'll or no one will wait on me. There really are times wherein you will be coming in late, but making it a habit is another thing. I always view time schedule as not limited to what is given but more of time is necessary, thats why i make it a habit to come for any arrange meet or work schedule an hour earlier, not necessarily to start working but gather as much information, this way when your shift starts you are better organized. The relevant things are done ahead of time since you had already prioritized what you will accomplish. So whenever you are also handed with sudden chores that are not in accordance to your normal routine, you would still be able to accommodate them without you rushing back to your previous one for lack of time. Time, basically, as we all know, is so much about discipline - a hard fact. It is also a kind of a sacrifice on your personal part, giving up more for work. But one of the special things about mastering this simple (not as simple though) behaviour is that even the brightest among will also struggle on this - which does greatly affect ones assurance of being effecient. But if somehow you develop this as a special behaviour of yours, trust is easily gained among the management & it becomes one skill of yours that will standout. Time is "GOLD" as the saying goes.
