Here is an easy snack that you can cook ahead of time & have them for after school. It is great because it is filling and has protein for energy. I use this for when my kids have events after school & dinner is going to be really late. Ingredients: pan sausage bisquick Brown off the pan sausage until it is full cooked, break it into small pieces. Drain off all the excess grease. Put it in a bowl and add the bisquick to it a bit at a time until you get it mixed to a thick consistancy, like biscuts. Drop on a pan and bake at 350 until golden brown. These will store in the refrigerator for a week. You can use any pan sausage that you like, spicy, sage, whatever. I know my kids love this snack. Hope yours do to!

I have tried other meats, but I think that the grease from the sausage is what binds the mix together, I have also added cheese.
