Do you leave things to the last minute?

I have a 2500 word essay due tonight and i haven't even started writing it yet. I have done some research but that is about it. Do you leave things to the last minute? Why?

if it's something I absolutely hate, then yes I leave it for last. For example cleaning the house.. I REALLY hate the bathroom. Hence it always ends up last on my list. I think we as humans have a natural aversion to things we find unpleasant.
