Spring cleaning. I'm starting to get the fever. Too bad the body doesn't want to follow the spirit. I just have the overwhelming urge to grab a shovel and start scooping stuff into the trash can! There are papers, and paper and yet more papers around here EVERYWHERE (someone refuses to throw a piece of mail away, but never takes time to shred it!). There are tons of things around that we never use! Boxes of stuff waiting to be put in the garage, what for, I have no idea! If he isn't using them now, what makes him think he will use it after years of it collecting dust! As it is, the garage and porches are full of things that he swears he will use when he has the time, but he never has the time. He sleeps for hours and hour and hours a day and hes not even the one that is pregnant! lol! So should I just start shoveling or should I wait and somehow make him weed through it?

I know what you are going through! My dear husband is what I like to call, "the ultimate packrat!" He holds on to things that I can't forsee either of us ever needing, boxes of old bills and letters, college t-shirts, vhs tapes and audio cassettes...I could go on and on! lol He also insists on keeping the original box from anything we buy, electronics, knick-knacks etc. In case we move, so they can be packaged safely. He drives me up a wall! So, I've put up with this for a few years and last Spring I decided enough was enough. When I started my Spring cleaning, I was relentless. If it was unneeded or unused it was out of our home. The funny thing was he never noticed. He knew the house was sparkling clean but he had no idea that his junk were gone. So as I start cleaning again this year, I will do the same and eventually I will have rid all of the useless junk! At least that's the plan anyhow! Hopefully he won't catch on until it's too late! Who would have ever thought the men in our lives would be the ones to hoard everything! Congratulations on your pregnancy and good luck with the great clean out! lol

HA! I'm not going to get to it. I wish I could, but I have been really sick and really tired lately. There is no way for me to do it, but if I could....!
