It's a chestnut pinto filly! Want to read about her dad and mom's color?

A pony named Abby had a little girl this morning. To our amazement, she is the most beautifully marked chestnut pinto. More markings than most paints throw!
Abby is a POA/miniature horse cross. She is white with brown spots on her head and chest. Abby has really got an Appy type eye. We bred her to our Morgan stallion, DJ, who is a dark bay. DJ's mom is dark chestnut and his dad is black.
Now, I would guess that DJ's mom Queenie has the strongest genes for color. Our first run of foals were bay, but a paint mare with very few marking threw a beautiful bay pinto colt. After that, we got a chestnut from a chestnut, and she was liver color after shedding out. Then we got another chestnut from a chestnut. Not unusual, but last fall we got a chestnut, that will be dark or liver, from DJ and a mare that is bay. We just got a chestnut with alot of white from another bay mare. I think this foal may stay lighter.
Let me hear your stories of color. Thanks
