Does anyone write for Helium?

I pose this question about Helium because recently I've written two different articles for Helium and when I used their spellcheck program, it deleted both my articles. I was so frustrated. Anyone else having problems. Also, feel free to leave any other information about your Helium experiences. I welcome all chat about Helium.

I write for Helium constantly and I've never had any problem with the spell check. I did "lose" two articles last week, however. I submitted and it looked like they went through...then disappeared into cyberspace. That never happened to me before! I emailed them about it and got a reply, but I don't know what, if anything, was done about it. Since both articles were part of the contest, I rewrote and submitted them again. I really like Helium--have been a member almost a year. I get paid small amounts but pretty regularly. It keeps me writing, which is good. I tend to need a lot of motivation to write!

Maybe the articles I lost were just like yours and it didn't have anything to do with the spell check. Thanks for sharing your experience. I didn't contact them, but I see that it didn't make much difference. Needless to say, I am staying far away from the spell check!

Like I said, I write pretty regularly for them. I've lost count of the articles I have. I like that the articles keep earning no matter how old they are. Thanks for BR.

I've never used their spellcheck program because if you look over your writing or even better have someone else look over your writing, you'll better edit your work. Spellcheck doesn't catch all the errors so it's not very trustworthy. I've had all but bad experiences with Helium. I think it's great to watch the money grow little by little each day. Plus they're having a contest!

Before the contest, I had only written one article on a whim about when I lived in London. When someone told me about the contest, I decided to go over and see what was up. I've been trying to write a little more over there, but it's a long, long road to a payout.

I've just started writing for Constant Content and have only submitted a couple of articles but had a couple of sales already so will see how it goes. I can't join Associated Content because I'm outside the US. Have had a quick look at Helium and can't see anything which says you have to be a US resident so will give that a try as well if I can.

I have to say Constant Content are pretty tough - I consider myself fairly able as far as writing goes but both articles I submitted were rejected at first due to grammatical errors. I quite like the discipline of that though - keeps me on my toes! I also have a tendency to wait until I have something really good to submit but in my case it's really just another excuse for procrastination!

I have signed up for Constant Content, but haven't written a thing. I keep waiting to have a really good article first, but I know that's kind of silly.

What are the links to these sites? I've never heard of them. Can you tell me alittle about them?

These are all writing sites that pay you to write articles: www.Helium.com; www.AssociatedContent.com; and www.Constant-Content.com. Good luck with your writing.

i write for helium, I have over 200 articles there. Its best to copy and paste your article from a word program. That way you wont get deleted and if you do you still have it in word. Good luck to you.

You would think that I would have learned that lesson by now. Nope.

They are different types of writing, but I think the more varieties of writing you experience, the better your overall writing becomes. It's also interesting to read how others approach topics, particularly on Helium, but then who has as much time as they wish they did to read and write? All the time I spend reading online, I keep thinking "I should be writing, I should be writing." It's the old chicken-and-the-egg story.
