i asked the same question when i first joined up and somebody told me it had something to do with the quality ranking of your comments. you get a star after 100 coments and like you could have a high star # but low comments or vice versa depending on how well your comments are recieved. I have a star now but that's all i've ever figured out about it. hope it helped.

yeah like for example i have like a 12th of the total comments of iron but my star is proportionately higher. its cuz im awesome. j/k

i wouldnt worry about it until you get a whole bunch of posts. it doesnt mean anything for you right now.

YEah, those stars stand for ones rating on mylot. This rating is done by forum members in mylot when they read through your posts. Ideally, those who have quality posts gain higher marks while those with poor posts don't get good rating; however, some can rate arbitrarily. Wonder why you've not being rated?

it is some sort of rating that mylot gives people. Still not sure how they arrive at the numbers.
