Is anyone in the MyLot community experienced in screenwriting. I'm currently kicking around a few ideas and would love to get advice about some good sites from experienced screenwriters, or just advice on the whole screenwriting process. Anybody live in Hollywood and written part of or an entire screenplay and seen it put out into the masses or still writing one or would like to write one?

I'm not a screenwriter expert, but I know a little bit about it. My dad knows a lot more than I do. He has a ton of books on screenwriting that has helped him a lot. If you would like to know some specfic titles feel free to message me and ask! :)

There's a lot of ways to get your script sold. There are also a lot of ways to learn how to write. You can write your script then have it corrected and put into the proper format by a script consultant. You can also have someone help you sell it or at least point you in the correct direction. There's a new site where the consultant offers a "seller's package" that provides you with the selling materials for getting your script out there. She'll write a logline and synopsis for you as well as give you notes on your script. But the best part, she gives you a list of production companies currently looking for scripts in your genre. Check it out: www.dialoguequeen.com . Hope this helps.
