Persons having interest in gardening may be always choosing plants from their surroundings suited for their gardens in different seasons. In my opinin, these plants may be of broadly three types; (1) Flowering and ornamental plants, (2) Fruits and vegetable plants and (3) Medicinal plants. A good combination of all these three catagories of plants is a must for a good garden of any person. The combination of these three types of plants in a garden by planning properly must make it a place of good health, benefit and attraction in all seasons. Are you of the same opinion?

I agree fully. 2 years ago I planted 2 apple trees. A Honeycrisp and a Halalred. I had a few apples the first year which is unusal. I also planted red rasberries as I love berries. I have many ornamental fragrant flowers out front by my front Deck. In a couple weeks I'll be planting 8 Astilbe. 2 of 4 different colors in my back yard against the fence. I have a veggie garden every year also. I may plant a couple red grape vines this spring also. Im looking to removing the cemnt slab by my back door and go with stepping stones with different spices growing in the edges of the stones. Peppermint, spearmint to start with. Thanks and happy gardening. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!
