Have you ever attended an MS informaiton session?

Tonight I attended an MS informaitonal meeting hosted by favorite drug company, Biogen (makers of Avonex). I was really disappointed in the meeting. There werea lot of other people there with MS but all they really did was serve us dinner and have a doctor lecture us about our disease. Some of it was a little different, like the doctor saying MS could cause severe mood swings...hadn't heard that before...but all in all, I felt like I would have learned more if I could ahve talked to the other people with MS. Has anyone else attended these things?

My boyfriend and I both has MS. We have attended several of these informational seminars. The lecture was kind of 'everything were have already heard before.' But the question and answer session was very informational. My favorite one was for Baterson. Copaxone wasn't bad either. They do give out lots of info and serve a great meal.
