If God is love then why did he allow us to suffer the evils of the world? If he cares about us then why did he let religion divide among us Christians? Does God really exists or is it the product of man's unending question of curiosity that shuts one's mind?

The Christian religion does not divide people. God does not like people to suffer but people are disobedient and they don't like to obey God. They like to follow themselves and that's what makes people hard up. God really exists and because many people do not believe, problems arise. Then people blame God. That's unfair.

Thank you very much for your opinions. In deed, the Christian religion doesn't divide people but how come there are different religious sects? if there is a God that doesn't like people to suffer then why did he make his creation do disobedience? Is there a sense of creating something that will break your heart in the future? I think it is human nature to do things which is considered by his society as sin where it has grounds on the society's norms and laws. Do we have to blame that there is a God that punishes us because we don't believe in him or is it just circumstances that life has to offer?

I do not know if God exists or not. It could very well be that God is a man-made concept. OR, it could very well be that there is a God or creator or supreme being, etc. Until I die, I won't really know for sure (if then). If there is a God ~ I would ask him/her that same question. Perhaps, once everything was set in motion, God lost control of exactly how his/her creation works. Perhaps, God simply allows people to be themselves ~ wherever that may lead. Perhaps, s/he has no interest or desire to control man or the capabilities we posess. OR, perhaps there is no God and we are on our own. Who knows? I don't think anyone can answer these questions with 100% certainty.

Definitely, there is God. God created us and He gives us wisdom and free will. We are free to choose to do whatever we want. God does not control us. God gave us His Word - the Holy Bible and that's complete. We are to choose whether we follow or not. Yes, God allows people to be themselves - wherever that may lead. But God already said in the Holy Bible that a person who obeys Him will live with Him in heaven forever when the judgment day comes and those who disobey Him will be thrown into hell. It's up for us to choose. With these, can we blame God if something bad happens because of our own disobedience to the way God wants us to go?

thank you so much for the info. Sometimes I wonder if he really exists. If it is the bible that we are created to his image and likeness. so it means that we share characteristics with him. So the idea is when one creates a masterpiece, he takes care of it and make sure it is out of harms way. so if he really exists, why do crimes exists? brother against his fellow brother. even in the family. if he could count the numbers of hairs we have of the stars in the sky, why can't he do a simple thing like let people live in peace and abundance? Would a person do such a sin if all he needs are already there?

Thank you very much for your opinions. How can one be so sure about something or someone you haven't seen yet? If there is a God that created us that gives us wisdom and free will, does that mean those people who are prisoned due to set-up had a choice and were making wise decisions in being there? The bible is just a literary piece (no offense) every body can write something and believe in whatever they believe just like the constitution. If the bible is complete how come one of its authors mentioned that there are some things that have happened but has not been written... or something like that from John I guess. If there is heaven really, how come we see no evidences of such? I think man is blameable of all the bad things that happened to him due to his wrong ways but does that mean God is there affected?

The fact of the matter is, Bad things DO happen to good people. There are sufferings in the world, be it you are a Christian or not, because Man sin. We can't blame God. A good example will be, you go up to your Minister of transport and ask him this:"Mr Minister, why is there so many traffic accidents? You are a minister and why did you allow this?" He will reply you "Accidents happened because people don't follow laws." Same thing here.. Sufferings occur because Man does not follow the laws that He set. I am not a legalistic Christian but I am very much against lawlessness, or cheap grace which Bonhoeffer coined. God does exist because just look around you and the Bible. What He promised are all occuring around you. e.g the rainbow.

Thank you so much for the info. I think one can claim things and make stories out of it just like legends or myths. so it is plainly subjective and evidences are hard to find. I know laws are made and based on true events but that is the product of man's ingenuity and reflection in life but does it have to be inclined with God? I think there is what we called coincidence where things sometimes happened by chance. people knows the sense of morality and what is just for a person is also just for all but do you have to believe in God for there are somethings that are unexplainable?
