Does anyone collect license plates?

My Husband was an over the road truck driver when we met. He had started a collection but never did anything with them. I insisted on displaying them, but needed the 50 states to do so. Now we are about 5 short of the whole lot of them. I put them up around the top of our ceiling as a border, like people would use wallpaper borders. I have duplicates and will probably start another wall of them, its interesting conversation, and some have some good stories! When we travel now I search them out in antique stores or thrift stores. Sometimes I'll find the hard to get ones going for next to nothing on ebay. It's fun! Happy collecting! FranMc:) peace
