When was the first time you ever felt grown up?

I'm 31 and never plan to grow up...just kidding. I think about all the times I've made major decisions in my life....getting maried, my first real job, buying a home...things like that made me realize, hey I'm grown up now.

I think we always hold a little child in us. I call it the sense of wonder.

Once I wasw going somewhere with two of my cusions. In the way we heard some animals shouting(I think they were wild dogs). They both held my hands and said"bhaiya hame dar lag raha hai(we are affraid of this)" and I said "main hoon na(don't be, when I am with you)" and then they both suddenly started shouting, singing and dancing. Even though I myself was 13 years old at that time, I felt as if am a grown up now. It is a damn good feeling.

I hope I'll never feel like those dull grown ups. I make decisions and take resposibility for them, but I hope the inner child will never die! Life is just too short to be grown up, you know.

I am 26,my mum aiways treats me as a child,every time I leave for university,now for work,she worries for me very much.she is 55,when I see her white hair,I can not help to tear,she becomes older and older,but I can not make her enjoy life.I think must earn more money and have more compony with her.

I wish i could feel that im totally grown up but it sucks coz im still dependent to my sister...
