this morning, a guy who owns a daycare center took 30 nursery students ages five and below to go on a trip to Tagaytay here in the Philippines absolutely free! the parents, with so much trust with the guy, then let their children go with the said trip and then they rode a bus. he has a plan. he hostage the children together with the other four teachers and the students. he asks for free education of the thirty students up to college. he said that least year he had 70 students graduated from his day care center and yet, only 12 have enrolled for the next school year for money is a great problem. he also said that every graduation day, he sees the parents faces crying because they can't afford to enroll their child on school. schools are free, yes, but how about the allowances they need in order to go to school. this is not his first time in hostage taking. its his second time. the first was that he hostage priests for having some illegal doings but after that he was put to jail and then freed because the priests don't put up a case on him. this guy i am talking about is on his mid 60's now. he hostage the students for a very good cause. this is a very high profile case. a senator went into the bus just to have an arrangement with the guy. this is prohibited in a hostage crisis. having someone to go with the hostage taker inside is a big nono! to think that the person he called is his friend and also a big name in the philippines. he is a senator. a powerful person. while hearing this forecast through the radio, we can't help but have some things in mind. this guy is totally awesome for sacrificing himself just for the children to study. he is fighting for a VERY GOOD CAUSE. now, does the government sees the vision of this old man? or they will just use the situation for them, the politicians, for their name to be more fruitful?

Education is important but nothing is so important to put the lives of children at risk .... I think he should be charged and when convicted put in jail for the rest of his life. He is an evil man to do this to young children ... regardless of his motives or claimed motives. If people cannot afford to educate their children then perhaps they should have less children. The government is not to blame for the number of children that people have ... or the fact that the parents cannot afford to send them through higher education. That is the same in every country, and even in Australia where we have free education but we still have to pay for some things. Nothing is free and someone has to pay for it ... even if you say that the Government has to pay, the money the government has comes from the taxpayers. Do you want to pay more in tax so that the government has all this extra money for education? I bet the answer is no but that is what would have to happen if you want everything for free. The other option is that something else has to be stopped or reduced to make the money available. What do you want stopped or reduced so that you won't have to pay extra taxes? Education is important but then it has to be paid for but this man was wrong. He was callouse in his treatment of these children and his actions showed that he has no regard for their, their families or their future.

Education is very important! I understand this mans concern that the children of his daycare may not get the proper education that they deserve because of finances. I think he took this too far because this could have caused very severe trauma to the children, they trust him and their parents trust him, but he has lost this trust now. I understand he is fighting for a cause that is worth fighting for, but he should have fought in a different way. I hope everything works out for this man and your educational system. Maybe this will further the government in realizing that they need to do more than just offer free schools.

Education is the key to the door of success. If you want to be successful you must attain one at whatever the cost. However that said there is nothing wrong with parents home schooling their children if they cannot afford to enroll them in school. Education is a lifelong process also it can be formal or informal. The high school years are the years (grades 9 thru 12) that are of documentary and educational importance for collegiate education and collegiate level education is when you get to study what you want to study and really invest in your future mentally.

ahh..education is very important..without education our country cannot improved well..how can the teachers teach the student if they were not well educated?they teach the student the things that they know?only the things that they learned inside the house?..how can be our parents be our role models?if they were not educated maybe we are not educated too..like the people living without an education..even if they are old enough, they like to study but they don't have enough money for them to satisfy their needs to study..in the news that you were broadcast..i also watched it the news..it is ok for me that they hostage it..it is wrong but he has the reason that he do such thing..it's because he like to have an education to the children..he like to give a well education to the children.he's not crazy..he owns that daycare where the students studying..in that case that guy is right but in the other side..it is wrong..because it may cause trauma to the children that were inside the bus..that's all..for me..EDUCATION IS VERY IMPORTANT..
