Many people are raised to think it is a sign of weakness mainly men. Furthermore, sometimes society makes crying a sign of weakness too. On the other hand, I think if you think it is weakness you have no heart and no emotion. Emotion is the ultimate form of character. If you have no emotion, you have no personality or at least it is a cold one. I would definitely say crying is a sign of strength considering the way people think these days.

I don't think it is weakness, but I often feel that when I cry in front of people I look weaker, I can't stand looking weak. that probably sounds weird coming from a girl, but I can't even cry in front of my friends.

If we didn't, there'd be nothing to wash away our sorrows. Yes, that includes men too. Tears releases the deepest part of our souls to create life all over again....that's what I believe. :)

i think one should never cry. and why should one cry ?? you shold try to overcome that problem and your tears too so that you can go ahead in life.

No, it is not a weakness to cry. It is one way of expressing our emotions, and releasing the pain what we feel inside. Haven't you noticed? After we cry, caused by emotional burden, we do feel ok. Yes, the problem is still not resolved but you let the bad feeling come out.

I agree with you. Crying is not a weakness at all - I cry and i am proud to admit it even if some unevolved males may think i am crazy or week. I can cry, and i can fight as well, courage does not mean to have no fear, but to be able to over come your fears.

i don't believe that it is a weakness to cry rather i believe crying lightens your heart if there is something because of which i am hurt or if i had to let go something which i want in my life then i feel its only crying that lightens my heart and gives me the strength to let go unless and until i cry the sadness doesn't disappear and as it is said time heals everything so does crying

No....it actually helps. It gets out all the emotions that you have had bottled up inside. I am a very emotional person. However...a lot of men think it is weak to cry...but I think just the opposite....

one must cry but when alone only. u must never cry in public or even infront of a single person. that weakens u r personality. its alwys better to avoid crying.
