Well again we go through the routine of getting up, Grab Gissi while he is mad at me and growling get him past Mike and Nics Room so he does not get to Cookie and down the Stairs we go. Gissi is scared of Stairs he won't go up or down them. And Cookie knows this, so she decides to sit at the top of the Stairs teasing, poor Gissi is going mad at the Bottom, then Goodness poor Scruffy the Cat walks past and Gissi gets her again we play the Record Gissi, it is a Cat please do not try to mate the Cat. Again Gissi gets headlocked, does he care? Noooooooooo oh I am despairing now what to do with this determent Fellow. Ok Garden time. Gissi runs in Garden does what he has and back in to try again. Oh come on give me a Break here I am only half awake, I haven't had my Coffee yet, well Gabs gets a bit ratty. I tell Cookie to go to bed and Gissi to get and lie down, guess what, I got ignored, so what is new. They are worse then Kids. Mel is sitting on the Settee giggling. I give up, I go and make a coffee, I try to move Gissi away from the Stairs and I get a snarl and growl and guess what as soon as I put him down he is back at the stairs and Cookie is still teasing. Well after that when Cookie had enough she would go and sit on the Stairs, Gissi would attempt 2 Steps then back down and stand at the Bottom barking, whinning, Yapping and driving me crazy, arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Yes again all Day, Gissi don't ... Gissi leave her... Cookie stop teasing... Cookie hide your Butt.. Gissi.... Cookie, oh my I am going crazy here. I take Mel to work that Night and Gissi comes with us, peace yes. Me and Gissi get back I carry him upstairs and Ohhhhhh nooooooooooo again he tries to get in to Cookie, now he is mad at me because I picked him up put him in the Room and shut the Door. For an hour he laid there growling at me everytime I spoke or even MOVED, now come on I mean this is just not on. I mean the Night before he would not let me get into Mels Bed, because he was mad at me, he laid there growling at me everytime I tried to get to Bed
Oh I so love this little Man. Of course Mel found it funny and was laughing.
Yes very funny I am standing there arguing with a Dog who after a few minutes let me get into Bed but still gave me dagger looks.

aaaawww cheeky little mamn wanting to get to cookie. aaahhh cookie was teasing him at the top of the stairs but at least that kept little gissi away. i think its really funny little gissi is amusing, your head must of be spinning on friday with all the running round after gissi. take care gabs

Sounds to me like he needs to get dumped into a bath tub full of cold water. Oh - if he jumps out ... make sure you have a mop handy. O yeah - afterwards, that mop might also be what you need to heep 'em in line.

Awwwww bless him. We women shouldn't tease the guys so much... it's naughty! lol.
The bad thing about all this is poor ol' Scruffy gets it, because Cookie is teasing! ha ha ha. Just what are they like, your animals? I think it's highly amusing Gabs, I'm sorry, but I'm laughing my socks off at this. I have a vision of what went on and you, running round in circles trying to keep them apart. Where was the bucket of cold water? Ha ha ha ha ha

lol thats just to funny. he keeps mummy gabs busy all the day hehehehe that little man is a fun doggy. and you ratty? do you know how to be that? i cant believe it. i never thought you can be lol. ouch was that me saying that?

I'm so glad that Gissi is keeping you all amused ....I really hate to think of you getting bored or anything...Good boy Gissi..Good boyyyy...Go get Cookie...Go get her...Come on you can make it up the stairs...go get her...Run Gissi ..here comes Mummy Gabs...run little buddy run...

I'll trade a day with you, we both could use a change. I get up, make hubby food to take to work. Get on the computer. The end. On a busier day, I will do chores inbetween.

Oh these animals of ours. I go through the same with my 3 cats. They are constantly teasing each other. And Im constantly yelling at them. They are just like kids.LOL But we love them anyway. Poor Gissi.

Oh boy it must of been hard getting Gissi, passed the room where Cookie was as he wanted to see Cookie, and what a cheek Cookie had as she knows that Gissi does not like stairs. He is a very determined little boy isn't he. Oh yes they can be worse than kids can't they. Oh no all day Gissi tries. Gissi, was such a naughty boy in regards to Cookie and gave you a time you won't forget.

Your little man is so very opinionated isn't he? Darned stubborn too. Now I am starting to feel just a little bit sorry for him (but only a little, LOL). I can just imagine Cookie...if she could have stuck her tongue out at Gissi and given him the old 'pfffffttttt' treatment, I think she would have. ROFL

What a strong personality he has!! You have me laughing my head off. This boy is very clever and very cute and very a few other things we can't mention here...lol.
Is there some reason he and Cookie can't do the wild thing??

Did you know that you can buy dog chastity belts ?? I honestly don't know where you can buy them from .. but back in the mid 70's when I had show dogs I had a 'chatity belt' for my male dog so he couldn't mate with my female dog ..
It was more or less like a pair of kids plastic nappy (diaper) covers .. but the front was made of mesh so the dog could pee and not make a mess of himself .. I'm sure they must still be on sale .. maybe even ones for female cats too ..
I know it's not nice to have to 'dress up' an animal but in Gissi's case it's maybe a necessity rather than a 'cute' thing .. failing all that you can buy hormone treatment that stops the season ...

I don't want to sound rude, but I think Gissie rules the roost at your place. I also think you are lucky he is not a big dog or you would have some real problems with him. He has a very dominant nature and he is dominating you.
I have seen my share of animals since we are a temporary emergency shelter and work closely with the local vet and animal services. I am not a self proclaime dog whisperer by any stretch of the imagination.
I hope you don't get mad at me for saying what I did. But Gissie and you could both use some training classes. I know you love him dearly, there is no doubt about that. However there is training available to help you to get him to listen, stop barking, whinning, and yapping as you say he does. Also I would never allow a dog of mine to growl at me.
I have too many dogs and cats and other creatures running around my place to have them exhibit aggressive behavior. I truly think he would be a much happier dog and better traveling companion if he had some training.

Ally I am not mad at you
I know that is the Impression it gives but you have to know the little Fellow to know his meaning. He is not being evil or nasty, he just likes to play and this is a Game to him, Sweet
Any other Dog and I would probably agree but in Gissi's case I know how he is and what he means. He has his little Personality, he also knows when he has gone to far as believe me I tell him and he knows.
I have grown up with Dogs and I have had Dogs all my Life and each one of them has had different Personalities
Honest Ally, it is not what it sounds like it
He is the most loving adorable little Fellow and he knows right from wrong and he knows when he does wrong
I would never be mad at you as you are trying to advise me
