A modern day Rainman!

This experience that I had yesterday reminded me of the "Rainman" movie, with actor Dustin Hoffman. I was on the bus and next to me was sitting the Rainman's real life equivalent. He was dressed well and was the most incredible mixture of super smart with super dumb, wise, but at the same time very naive. All this was mixed with conversations which included clear paranoid comments. I normally don't talk to strangers, but this guy really intrigued me and he was harmless enough and quite a gentle soul, actually. Although at times he seemed mentally retarded and it was like talking to a child, at others he would start rattling off really evolved concepts, talking about economics. He was also like a walking atlas and quite psychic too, as he even guessed that I was from South America, although he went for Bogotá, which is close enough, I guess!
