2 year old party: What to do?

My son is about to be 2 in June and I want to have a nice party for him, but wondering what do you really do for a party for a 2 year old. His interest right now are curious george,elmo, and the mcdonalds playplace but not every mcdonalds does neat stuff for birthdays so wondering if anyone else has any ideas on what to do or what have you done for your children?
