The title should have been, "Looking Younger Than Your Age: A Blessing or Bane?" but that would have been a kilometric title and totally a waste of space if no one bothers to reply to this discussion!:) I look young for my age. I often get mistaken for a high school student if I'm not in my office uniform. And I'm thankful for it. but sometimes it becomes a hindrance, I got passed over a promotion because i look too young for the job. I fought tooth and nail for that one. How young one looks should never be used as a gauge to how much one knows and what one is capable of doing. Age should never be discriminatory. Looking young has been both a blessing and a curse for me...as to the curse part, I just console myself by thinking that by the time my looks finally catch up with my age, my detractors would by then be looking like grandmothers! I still get the last laugh!Ha-ha-ha-ha....(insert here the evil cackle).

It's a bane when you are younger, and a blessing when you are older! I look very young for my age, too, so I know how you feel... But when we are both old and gray, we will still look awesome. :D

My 29 year old sister is married to a guy who is 31, but who looks like an overgrown teenager!! My sister looks about 32. They went to the hospital so he could get some tests. The doctor said "your son will be just fine." She's like "I don't have a son" and the doctor told her who he was referring to. She said "Oh no, that's not my son, that's my HUSBAND!" LOL
